GERMANY, CANNED TUNA IMPORTS INCREASED

Demand for preserved food reserves in Germany is increasing due to concerns of a Covid outbreak - the second 19, including canned tuna products.

Exports of canned tuna from Vietnam to Germany in 2020 have recovered, with an increase of 64% over the same period in 2019. This year, the average price of canned tuna exports to Germany tends to be lower than that of the same period in 2019. the same period, at 2,927 euros / tonne, down 2%. This is the lowest import price among German import sources. Vietnam is exporting mainly to Germany with products of tuna sauce, tuna in sauce with peas and onions ... to this market.
